Can you do special order which are not on the site?

Yes we definitely can do. The colours and composition will be the same (or a close match), however the shape or the end result will never be identical to your photo. Please email your details to enquiry@ballooncorner.com.au.

Can I do pick up locally?
Absolutely, we are located in Sandhurst, Victoria. Pick-up has to be done between 9 to 11AM Please contact us prior pick up. Our email address is enquiry@ballooncorner.com.au and our phone number is 0403 420 157.

Note: We are away on deliveries most of the time, kindly call or email to book a time.

Balloon Information

Helium-filled latex balloons

When filled with helium, an 11 inch latex balloon will generally float for between 12-18 hours (Without Hi-Float) or up to 3 days (with Hi-Float), however if your balloon has a metallic or pearl finish, its average flying time reduces to 16-18 hours.

You can extend the flying time of your helium-filled latex balloons quite significantly by treating the un-inflated balloon with a product called ULTRA HI-FLOAT.  HI-FLOAT contains a water-soluble plastic, which dries inside the balloon to form a coating which helps to retain the helium molecules.

Air-filled latex balloons

Air-filled latex balloons do not float, however, they have the advantage of generally having a longer life than helium-filled balloons.  Air-filled balloons can last several days, even weeks, in the right conditions.

What is Hi‐Float?  

Hi‐Float is a liquid protective coating that is inserted into the balloon and spread around to prevent helium from escaping as quickly. It is water‐soluble and non‐toxic.  

Is helium flammable?

No, helium is not flammable, and therefore very safe to use.   

What size and type of latex balloons are available? 

Our range includes two finishes: pearl and standard. Pearl balloons are solid, translucent colours, featuring a sheen similar to a pearl. Standard balloons have an opaque finish and are available in bright colours.

What do you do with the balloons afterwards?

There are a few options

  • Get the kids to pop the balloons
  • Or take them home,
  • Or you can sell them on marketplace,

The item I want is out of stock. What now?
Although we try to have a stock level that will keep up with demand, some highly popular items may run out of stock. We are re-ordering all the time so please contact us and we can let you know when we will be back in stock.

Changes or Additions to orders
Yes we accept change or modifications to the order and has to be made before 48 hours of the delivery date/time.

What payment types do you accept?
At Balloon Corner we offer a number of payment options:
Credit Cards: Visa and MasterCard, Paypal, Afterpay, Google Pay, Apple Pay

Is it safe to use my credit card on your site?
We strive to ensure that every credit card transaction occurs within a secure environment. You can see the transaction is secure if you see a key lock at the bottom right of your web browser. We do not retain your credit card information after your order is complete. Rather, it is submitted directly to our bank. You can rest assured that with each purchase your credit card or bank account information will be secured.

My credit card details are not being accepted. What’s wrong?
Please check with your bank or financial institution or please make sure that the right information is entered during purchase.

My computer froze while processing payment. How will I know that my payment went through successfully?
All successful transactions will receive a confirmation email within an hour of purchase. Alternatively you could check your bank statement for any processed funds for the same amount on that particular day.

Delivery

Do you deliver Personalised Balloons & Balloon Garlands

Yes we provide both delivery and pick up from our Sandhurst location for your special events. We take pride in providing great service and our team will ensure they arrive safe.

Prices are subject to availability and the time delivery is required. Please email us on enquiry@ballooncorner.com.au to check availability for your date.
We will always do our best to accommodate your order within our delivery schedule; however, we are unable to hold delivery spots until payment has been processed. Payment is required at least two weeks prior to your event to lock in your order for delivery.

Once we have delivered the balloons to your party, we are unable to take responsibility for them as they are out of our supervision. The nature of balloons is that they can sometimes be fragile and many factors can affect them, not only how they are being looked after but also temperature changes & sunlight exposure.

Home Delivery instructions

We will try to get the order delivered on time. We usually plan to come on time or 30 minutes early due to traffic conditions. Please make sure that someone is available at home during delivery. Note: we can only wait for a maximum of 5 minutes at each location to meet delivery deadlines. If no one is home to receive the balloons, or you have provide an incorrect address, and we can’t get through to you to request for instructions, your balloons will be sent back to our workshop for someone to collect on the same day before 5PM. Redelivery is not available. We will only leave balloons outside if you authorise and it was deemed safe to do so, but you do not find the balloons where we had left them due to a number of reasons (e.g. the weather has turned and the wind blew them away or balloons were stolen by passer-by), we are not obligated to refund (please check Terms and Conditions)

Balloon Pick up Instructions

Pick up is available from Sandhurst warehouse from 9 to 11AM Mon to Sat. On the event where you fail to collect your balloons at the designated time, the option will be to pick up next day between 9 to 11AM. Please email enquiry@ballooncorner.com.au to check if anyone is available at warehouse for alternate pick up time, else you will have to pick up next day between 9 to 11AM.

If you come to collect the next day and find your balloons have gone down or not in 100% condition, we are not obligated to remake. Please read Helium float times above for floating times.

No refund will be given if no collection occurs.

Once an order has been picked up, it is the responsibility of the customer to take care of them. We will not be able to provide refund or replace when 

  • They pop in the car due to a sharp item
  • You lose the balloons due to high wind

Please have enough space in the car to transport the balloons, once they are blown, it cannot be resized to fit the car. No replacement or refund will be provided.

Venue deliveries instructions

Once we have delivered the balloons to your party, we are unable to take responsibility for them as they are out of our supervision. The nature of balloons is that they can sometimes be fragile and many factors can affect them, not only how they are being looked after but also temperature changes & sunlight exposure.

No refunds or replacements will be done if, your balloons pop due to hot room temperature, or if it was an outdoor area and the weather is too hot or too windy, or coming in contact with sharp objects or your balloons were stolen by other patrons in the venue or your balloons have been popped by accident by other patrons or staff in the venue.

Cancellation & Refund

We will start to work on customised balloons 48 hours before the event. So cancellations are only available 48 hours before the event or delivery date. No refund will be given on change of mind or event cancellation within 48 hours. Date can be moved (subject to availability), provided that you give enough notice. If we are unable to deliver at the new date you have requested, no refund will be provided.

  • A 100% refund is available on orders cancelled 48 hours prior to delivery date
  • A 100% Credit note is available on cancelled orders 48hours prior to delivery date
  • Up to a 70% Cancellation Fee on the order may be charged on any order cancelled within 48 hours to delivery date. Delivery Fee will be fully refunded.
  • Orders cancelled the day of delivery cannot be refunded.

On the event where your balloon pops during transport, we cannot always make a replacement. A refund will be given instead.

A refund will only be provided if

  • we fail to deliver your order
  • put the wrong text on your personalised balloon orders
  • have delivered a significantly different product to what you have ordered (slight variation in colour is acceptable)
  • balloon is deemed faulty after thorough inspection. Refund will be given on the cost of the faulty balloon, not including delivery.

How long does it take for me to receive a refund?
If faulty, We aim to refund your purchase within 7 days of receiving the return.

How will I be refunded?
Refunds are issued through the same transaction method used to make the original purchase. Balloon Corner will notify on the receipt once the refund has been made.

What if my item is faulty?
Our Quality Control team try to ensure that all products are of a high quality when they leave the warehouse. In the rare circumstance that your item has a defect or was damaged during delivery, please contact us within 2 hours of receiving the goods.
